Dobson Fiber Acquires Pinnacle Telecom (read more here)
Pinnacle Telecom began as a merged entity between Newroads Telecom and Pinnacle Communications.
Newroads Telecom (CLEC) was founded in 2000 while Pinnacle Communications (RLEC) has been in business since 1958. These two great companies came together in June of 2016 to move forward as PINNACLE TELECOM. In 2021, Pinnacle Telecom was acquired by Dobson Fiber.
Dobson Fiber has a focus to provide “Huge-Company” service and support to every small and medium sized business we can serve. Using next generation hardware and software, Dobson Fiber is able to provide “Tomorrow’s Technology Today.”
We currently serve Western and Northwest Arkansas and sections of Eastern Oklahoma with our advanced communications facilities. Pinnacle Telecom has built a state of the art fiber optic network in: Fort Smith, AR., Van Buren, AR., Alma, AR., Ozark, AR., Lavaca, AR., Panama, OK. ,Shady Point, OK., Poteau, OK., and Muskogee, OK.
Our communications services include local voice services, long distance, high speed broadband using Fiber Optics, DSL and T1 facilities providing Ethernet connections to our customers with speeds exceeding 1Gbps.
We also provide advanced Internet applications such as colocation facilities, and call center disaster backup services. Our headquarters in Fort Smith, Arkansas houses a 6000 sq. ft. data center with redundant power and air conditioning.
